J4 is a pseudonym of diverse multi-instrumentalist Jared Forrester, under which the Nashville-based musician explores the creative roots of multiple pioneers in the once-underground world of electronic, IDM, and ambient genres. In his 2013 release, 'foreasonal', J4 provides us with a fresh dose of an eclectic multifaceted collection of computer-based beat-driven quazi-dance songs, as the talented knob-twisting producer pays homage to a healthy list of electronic artists who have influenced & inspired Forrester throughout his already noteworthy career.
